This model was named after Richard Ira Bong, a Medal of Honor recipient and one of the most decorated American fighter pilots. It is a "racer" which means that it was designed to fly fast and far. You'll be surprised by how long this can glide on a simple toss, and then you'll be really amazed when you launch it with a rubber band catapult and watch it almost disappear from sight! This model has dihedral wingtips and an elliptical wing and tail which gives it added stability and improved aerodynamic performance.
