This is a rerelease of the very first Whitewings kit from 1980. It includes a balanced mix of high performance gliders in a variety of styles. There are racers that are designed to go fast, several realistic models that are designed to look like real airplanes, and a few experimental designs that look cool.
This kit includes three popular Whitewings gliders.
Racer 501 Familiar - A great beginner airplane with a traditional design that is easy to assemble and fly.
Racer 504 Dolphin - This glider has elliptical wings for improved aerodynamic performance.
Racer 507 Grace - The dihedral wingtips on this glider give it some extra stability.
This accessory pack is an optional companion for the Vol 1: Original Series paper airplane assembly kit.
It includes a simple rubber band launcher and paperclips to make the hook for the rubber band. This allows you to fling your Whitewings gliders high into the air for longer flights. This accessory pack also includes small metal washers to put inside the paper airplanes so you can get the center of gravity to balance at the correct spot.
This accessory pack contains a nice wooden dowel with a hole drilled in one end. It also includes a long 36 inch piece of rubber band that can be used to assemble the Advanced Catapult. Instructions are included in the pack and are also published here on the website.
This catapult will allow you to launch your Whitewings paper airplanes high into the sky for long duration flights.
