You will need:
  • a fully assembled Whitewings Paper Glider
  • a clock
  • construction paper and markers
  • masking tape
  • a brightly colored letter size piece of paper

Object:
To score the most points in one minute by hitting the target from different spots on the floor.
How to play:
Tape the colored piece of paper to the wall and make that your target. Next, write the numbers 1 through 5 on five pieces of paper. Then, tape those five numbers on the floor at differing distances from the target. The larger the number, the farther it should be from the target.
Each participant has one minute to score as many points as possible by shooting from any of the five spots on the floor. You score points by hitting the target with your plane. The number of points is determined by the location from which you launched the plane. (If you launched from the "3" spot, then you score 3 points.) You do not have to do the numbers in order and are free to start and stop at whichever number you choose.
The participant with the highest cumulative point total is the winner!

Variation:
Try working through the numbers in sequence! Start at the spot marked "1". Keep shooting your glider at the target until you hit it. Then move to the spot marked "2". When you hit that number, move on to the next. Work your way up to 5 and then reverse the order on your way back to "1".
